Augment Limb

Granted By: Düardin, the Furnace Unending Type: Permanent Augment – Divine Modification Availability: Once per character lifetime

Description:

Through divine ritual under the eye of a Burnwright, a follower of Düardin may sacrifice a natural limb in exchange for a blessed mechanical augmentation—forged from iron, flame-tempered alloys, and the soulsteel of reclaimed tools.

The limb functions seamlessly, with divine power coursing through gear and piston. The procedure is agonizing and irreversible.

Effects:

  • The mechanical limb never tires, feels no pain, and functions in extreme environmental conditions.

  • It grants +1 to all Crafting actions that use the limb (for arms/hands).

  • Can be customized with minor internal tools (welding torch, storage compartment, crowbar finger, etc.) at DM discretion.

  • Cannot be healed by natural or magical means—must be repaired with tools and time.

  • Sparks with divine energy when used for forging, granting advantage on one crafting roll per week.

Roleplay Notes:

Characters with Augment Limb often display reverence to their grafted part, keeping it polished or marked with Düardin’s sigil. It may hiss, tick, or emit steam during emotional stress or extreme activity.
