Introduction
Crafting is a core skill that governs a user’s ability to create equipment, weapons, tools, and other physical items through precise construction and material shaping. This skill reflects the user's craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and efficiency when turning raw resources into functional gear.
As with other skills, Crafting supports levels from -10 to 20, allowing for both unskilled penalties and expert-level mastery. Low-level crafters struggle with long build times and unreliable results, while high-level crafters enjoy faster production, consistent success, and access to top-tier materials or schematics.
How It Works
🔨 Crafting Time Formula
Crafting time is modified by a level-based multiplier:
Final Craft Time = Base Days × Time Modifier For example, a 5-day item at +75% crafting time: 5 × 1.75 = 8.75 Days
⚙️ Success Rate Formula
Crafting success uses a similar formula:
Final Success Rate = Base × Multiplier + Base So with a base 50% chance and a +30% multiplier: 50% × 0.30 + 50% = 65%
Negative skill levels apply negative success rate multipliers, reducing your chance of successful completion and increasing the risk of failure or material loss.
